At Green’s Metal Cut-off we specialize in the production of custom turned parts. We have more than 35 years experience as a reliable provider of precision parts to a diversity of industries with challenging quality criteria. By applying our insight into the fundamentals of screw machining, we have engineered, built, and patented our own proprietary equipment. Our cut-off machines are hydraulically activated and feature an opposed spindle, and three tool slides radically placed around the drive, which allows us to take care of end forming during the cut-off operations and automatically produce close tolerance, burr-free and tip-free parts. Leveraging this functionality, we manufacture parts very economically and help our customers’ obtain substantial savings in production costs.
Precision Turning Capabilities
We are capable of fabricating all types of parts, including those with complex geometries and non-standard designs. Materials we work with include any machinable metal or plastic in round, square, hex, or rectangular bar or tube. Examples include aluminum, copper, alloy steel, aircraft alloys, stainless, and high temperature, high strength alloys such as Inconel® and Monel®. We also produce machined parts from many different polymer grades, including high-performance engineering resins such as PEEK, polycarbonate, ABS, and others.
Tolerances and Quality
We can screw machine parts measuring from 0.06″ to 1.062″ in diameter and from 0.125″ to 72.0″ in length while upholding tolerances of ± 0.003″. Our machining processes are accurate, repeatable, and achieve a very high yield of conforming product. With our robust quality analytics, we ensure parts comply with the most stringent specifications. We accept orders for short runs as well as high volume production. Some examples of components we commonly produce are bolt blanks, bushings, fasteners, standoffs, spacers, couplings, shafts, and many others.
